Weekly Report: Location

I’ve been feeling better this week so I made an effort to get writing this week. Unfortunately, my mornings are shot for getting any writing done before work as I am no longer getting up early, so that means any writing I want to be done needs to be done in the evening and I really have to make an effort to do writing after work.Fortunately, I discovered that the nearby Whole Foods has a dining area in it last week. While not as big or as nice as the ones that Wegman’s had back home, it will suffice. This is where I can get to in a reasonable time in the evening and they are open late enough for me to not feel rushed if I get there after

This is where I can get to in a reasonable time in the evening and they are open late enough for me to not feel rushed if I get there after 7 pm. So this is where I wrote this week. I feel I made some decent progress this week. Or at least I made progress compared to the last three weeks. I consider it to be a success. I completed revising three short stories this week.I’ve done a little bit of thumb-nailing sketches for book cover ideas. This week I was also introduced to grammarly.com. I just tried the free version on my edited shorts today and while I can see value in it finding the stuff I’m missing, it all seems like the stuff I’d eventually catch in edits. I’m not sure what the premium would show me and the subscription seems steep, but I may try a month of it to see. (It says there are 20 critical issues in this post alone that require their premium service to see!) These are short stories destined for an ebook but I would like them to be as best as possible.

Not much else to report on for this week, but yay, progress!
